The Three Things I Wish I Knew When I Started my Business

Mistakes I made so you don't have to...

You ever look back and think, “Man, if I only knew…”

A year ago, I was just a typical college kid.

Broke.

Stressed.

And wanting to follow the classic “escape the matrix” path.

And if I could summarize the top three things I wish I knew before diving into this crazy entrepreneurial journey, here’s what I’d say:

  1. Invest in Learning Early
I thought I could figure everything out on my own.

Newsflash: I couldn't.

The amount I spent on courses and mentorships eventually saved me years of trial and error.

Buy back the time it takes to learn new skills.

I wish I had realized that fast-tracking my learning would’ve saved me countless hours and dollars.

  1. Mindset Is Everything
    Your mindset shapes your actions.

When I started, I had this scarcity mindset.

I was constantly worried about money and not being good enough.

It wasn't until I flipped my perspective to a growth mindset that things started to shift.

  1. Find Support
I ran solo for way too long.

Thinking I could handle everything myself was a huge mistake.

Connecting with like-minded people opened doors I didn’t even know existed.

Thats how Isaiah and I met each other.

Having a support network made challenges feel like shared adventures.
